I got the black version for striping burrs off some titanium. Keeps it's shape even at high speed (15,000 rpm+) and even the occasional spark comes off. Not sure what it is made of but it didn't shed bits. It is quite firm and should last a long time. I suspect the 120 grade will cut through thick rust like butter. Even the 600 I got stripped titanium very fast.
